Freeware ground textures. I wrote three articles about replacement textures for FSX: Moon, roads, rocks and trees – freeware for FSX & P3D; Better ground textures for FSX and P3D (freeware) Grass HD for FSX and P3D (freeware).

Hello all. I am learning to fly Instrument, and am an avid gamer to begin with. Though currently enrolled in real life instrument ground and flight courses... I want to put FSX to good use for practice (considering I can).
However, having a beasty computer I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some HD ground textures. Specifically to enhance the Salt Lake City area if possible.
I have done some searching but, I am rather new to this whole sim thing and don't really know where to begin trying to find what I am looking for. As it is right now I can run FSX at 60+ FPS with my rig, but I am looking to sparkle up the ground and buildings a bit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
